Where a dealership has a legitimate commercial reason to move units across the UK roads network – for example taking touring caravans or motorhomes from one business premises to another – the NCC believes such a movement will be judged an acceptable commercial activity.

The NCC has suggested businesses follow a process to ensure staff are in a position to evidence the activity should they be stopped by the police.
