With the big summer getaway in full swing, CaravanGuard has asked owners where they would be going on their motorhome holidays this summer.  Sixty-nine percent said they would be staying in the UK.

Aside from a UK-based motorhome holiday, the second most popular motorhoming destination was France with a fifth of the votes.  A longer drive down to Spain took third place, with just 8% of the votes – tied with “other EU countries”.

Portugal came in at number five and a small 2% would be heading off to Italy.
