The country’s vaccine passport scheme will end on 28 February 2022, then all remaining legal restrictions, including the wearing of face coverings in retail, hospitality and public transport settings, will end on 21 March.

The Scottish government’s new strategy is based on three levels of threat from Covid – low, medium and high.  First Minister, Ms Sturgeon, said the current threat level was medium, but she expected it to be reduced to low in the period ahead.
