Right to work checks – changes from 20 June

With more businesses opening up/expanding their workforce, it is important to note that the Government’s guidance on the requirements for businesses to check applicants’ right to work in the UK are about to change.

From 20 June 2021, the temporary COVID-19 relaxation of the right to work checks will end and employers will have to go back to face to face and physical document checks as set out in legislation and guidance.
